You clearly have talent

The voice acting left something to be desired; especially the female actors.

Personally I think you would be much more successful taking what you know about flash animating and drawing and use it to create your own story.

Video game sprites are garbage, but custom sprites look pretty good. I'm curious exactly what your process is for making these.
