Interesting, the veins make me curious about the character.

theevillemon responds:

Couldn't have given me a better compliment. :) I'm working hard on making a set of interesting characters that hopefully will catch people's attention and make them want to know more.

hmm

When he said "the shading on the left foot" he probably meant it was just off proportionally. I can see his point being the left is forward(at least in the kneecap) and somehow has less light shading but really it's the shape of the leg. A simple solution would be just to change the angle of the foot- I'd probably try to go for having the toes in line with the other foot with her heel off the ground to make her right leg the one she's balancing on.

Other than that, FrostDrive p. much said everything I was about to say.

AnglicanEnvoy responds:

Hmm, I think I see what you mean. You know I might just redraw this, the leg is somewhat off thanks to the shading. If I showed the bones it would make sense, but the shading makes the leg look a little twisted

Drawn with mouse?

Shit man, invest in a tablet.

But yeah, my guess that the reason you couldn't get the eyes right was because the forehead is a bit too big. Overall its not bad, especially for mouse drawing, but the color seems bland.

Sunrie responds:

I was going for a little more subtle color to get a more Gothic look.

I'd love to get a tablet. Was talking about that today *LOL*

p. cool

what is that a harpie-lamia?

FallenBane responds:

I believe so.

needs room for improvement

The problem is there's to many manly features you gave to the character. The most obvious is the face(like the 45* angle you have on the left chin bone and the general composition of the face) but there's a couple others; like how the shoulder line is larger than the waist, size of hands and the overall excessive length of the midsection.

On a side note it's generally confusing when you do work like your piece "caboose"- stuff that's fairly spot on proportionally. I imagine it turned out good because you probably referenced a picture of master chief, so you ought to keep a collection of pics, both real and drawn, of various poses and shapes for things like this.

Rennis5 responds:

i think you are right about the proportions, i never really thought about the hips needing to be wider then the shoulders and that midsection might be too long probably because the boobs are too high.

with the caboose one, i did use a referece but i also spent a lot more time on that one, this girl was pretty rushed and i just did it off the top of my head

thank you for another great review :)

again

my major problem with you is that your drawings leave me with the inability to distinguish whether or not your characters are male or female

KaiLEECH responds:

Okay..)) I really do not understand you. If my pictures make you personal problems, then why do you see them? I do not draw females. For me, there is a definite theme in my drawings: male and a close relationship between them. This could be you somehow interfere? :о

p.s. : thanks for the 6-score**

its not bad

My only real problem is that the face is just thrown in there. It would have been better if you placed her atop the webs, or entangled her in them.

CapiAza responds:

Hmmmmm... yes, you're right ;A;

ha

Seriously, you're one of my favorite authors.

Bill responds:

:D Thank you so much!!!

ok um

like it's cool that you wanna draw hentai of miss piggy but where is kermit the frog

HOLIMOUNT responds:

SOOO you hate the character think she is a dude and you watch every single drawing of it....

OKidokie

not bad

My only problem is it's a little too good compared to a lot of your other stuff. I hope you're just referencing rather than tracing. Better yet, I hope I'm wrong and you just pulled a reverse mulligan.

Rennis5 responds:

ok, i'm not too sure what you mean by reverse mulligan, i might be wrong but isn't that when you re-do something??
i actually used a line-art layer in paint tool sai, wich kind of makes the line art a vector, that makes it a hell of a lot easyer to play with and get perfect.
Thanks for the review man
