I applaud you for rejecting the whole armored swimsuit thing, I don't care for it much either.

I think the armor is very well done, but to me the face feels a bit funky. If I had a guess, it would be the nose and jawline that irks me. Overall, good job.

My friend summed up the face by telling me it looks like kindergarten aid in plate armor :) I don't know what's wrong with jaw tbh, maybe line is too straight? I had some more manga-like face construction on mind while drawing but maybe it got lost somewhere on the way

somewhat strange

I really dislike the proportion, most notably how the neck seems to be at a 3/4th's angle while everything else is a forward pose. His right leg seems to be turned funny, and the arms feel lifeless.

I have a basic picture of this character that i use to draw different costumes on, thats why he is posed the way he is, i have 2 other costumes in my gallery so far.

I really don't think it's that bad

You need a bit of work, I can tell you that much. but overall it's alright.

As for critique I really can't pinpoint it that well. I have a feeling its on the arms and legs though. Don't quote me on it, but I feel as though the arms are slightly shorter than they should be, and the legs aren't the right perspective.

Perhaps overall whats off is the limb's perspective.

Overall it's alright, but I see way to many problems. I have no idea what the cross-like shape in the midsection is about, and am even more confused of the strange bulge below. The jet black areas also lacked detail; in the future you should use a very dark grey or navy instead.

Far too generic

I mean this as lightly as possible, but I really don't like it. The pose is generic, and it really seems off in the lower body to the thighs. The design of the character's skin is ok, but the bright anime/final fantasy clothing is a strong dislike. On a personal note I don't like the face, probably because of the hair- did you draw her skull before adding the hair?

Well I was trying to draw this as a concept drawing. I wasn't trying to make the clothing anime/final fantasy but I suppose it kind of looks like that. And I drew her head prior to drawing the hair and personally I really like her face. Oh well. I like it. Thanks for the review
